Festival of Voices (FOV): Women’s narratives and young people amplify the call for gender justice

Dialogue, Organize, Reclaim! (DOR): Strengthening citizens’ participation in addressing gender violence

Description: DOR builds capacities of diverse citizens’ groups to initiate and deepen dialogue and context-specific, creative, non-violent action against gender based violence. Capacity building under DOR includes training, mentoring and support for action projects.

Unprepared: A theater series for peace building

Description: Unprepared is a series of conversations between mythological characters that unfold as hour-long theatrical experiences. The conversations challenge the constructs of masculinity, femininity, power and identity, and probe into organized violence patronized by the institutions of patriarchy.

Heart, Head and Hands: Resource pack to address gender violence

Description: A publication containing a workshop module and other resources to support trainers and development practitioners in undertaking capacity building and action projects to address issues of gender and GBV. This module informs the core approach to all of Mittika’s capacity building work under DOR and FOV.
